Our doctors and team understand that dental treatment is an investment in the future health and aesthetics of your smile. We believe that financial obstacles should not prevent you from seeking dental care. Payment is required at the time services are performed. Options include Cash, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express and Care Credit.
Other financial arrangements are available when extensive dental care is necessary, or when the dental care needed exceeds your budget or insurance benefits. Yes, certain dental services aren’t covered by basic dental insurance but the difference they could make to your smile and your confidence levels could result in an amazing return on your investment.
We understand that unexpected dental bills can strain finances. If this happens to you, don’t hesitate to speak with any of our front desk associates. We will be sensitive to your financial circumstances within the framework of sound business practices. If you keep the line of communication open with us, we will be able work out an acceptable payment arrangement.
As a service to our patients, our practice accepts most dental insurance programs, including non-managed care and indemnity (traditional). Our accounting staff will prepare all the necessary forms for your dental benefits. However, we remind you that your specific policy is an agreement between you and your insurance company. Please keep in mind that you are responsible for your total obligation should your insurance benefits result in less coverage than anticipated. Our staff will gladly submit a pre-treatment estimate to your insurance company so that you will know what your benefits will be. Our dentists are in-network with BCBS of NC, Delta Dental Premier, UHC, Metlife, and Principal.
The fees charged for services rendered to those who are insured are the usual and customary fees charged to all our patients for similar services. Your policy may base its allowances on a fixed fee schedule, which may or may not coincide with our usual fees. You should be aware that different insurance companies vary greatly in the types of coverage available. Also, some companies take care of claims promptly while others delay payment for several months.
